Meet the Wikipedians

The Wikipedians are a distributed and diverse group of individuals who contribute time and effort to create, edit and manage the articles on the Wikipedia or contribute to the online encyclopedia in a variety of ways.

The term Wikipedian alludes to a sense of community and collaborative participation among contributors to the Wikipedia. Wikipedians play different roles in building the online encyclopedia. The principles of open-access and co-creation which the Wikipedia operates on, is embodied by the Wikipedia's slogan - "The Free Encyclopedia which Anyone Can Edit".
